| Classes Mog takes |
Here was my schedule for 2nd semester of my senior year at Garfield High School, Seattle, Washington, United States. Will I continue this in college? Only time will tell. At any rate, enjoy the commentary. (AP scores will be put up when I get them.)
12th grade, 2nd semester-
1st- AP American Government: Scare tactics. That's all I can say. But the class will be over in 3 months really, so it's not all that bad. I have a feeling I am going to hate this class to no end.
This class annoyed me in many ways. I didn't find lecture particularly useful, nor did I like Mr. Willner's incessant picking of certain students. He never called me though, except for once, so that was good. There are other people that has a disposition for politics and I'm not one of them. At any rate, it was laid back after the AP test.
2nd- AP Chemistry: Nothing new to say really. It's more of the same.
AP Chem was so laid back this semester! We stopped doing formal labs sometime in April, so we could devote more of our time to AP test studying. After the AP test it was all "fun labs" and other such things. Although I think I blew on the AP test bad, I still enjoyed this class, but only because it was less annoying and there was less work this semester.
3rd- AP Calculus 4: Ooh 4th semester of calculus. Hopefully it will be a lot more chill in here than it was in the past.
We had maybe one or two tests this semester. This class, like the last two, was laid back, but perhaps my most laid back class this semester. I used this period to sleep mainly, but also do work for other classes. I love BC Calc; sucks it might not be at GHS next year!
4th- Physics 2: Again, nothing new to say. It's the same group of people as first semester, same teacher, so yeah.
I missed a lot of Physics, but oh well. It was more of the same this semester, but less labs towards the last few weeks. I can't say I absobred too much from this class, but Dr. P's efforts were amazing and well-appreciated.
5th- AP LA 12: Analyzing literature is the funnest thing in the world!
My participation grade plummeted, as did my number of assignments. I still had an A and I could have chosen not to have done the questions. But I was stupid and wanted to continue routine. I missed so much class because of AP testing and camp and other events, which made it hard to catch up. But amazingly I ended up with a 90.2% this semester, thanks to my poem grades and my essays (one 82% B, and two 95% A essays.)
6th- Annual: Wow... with each new semester, it gets harder and harder to write commentary on my classes. But Annual will hopefully be chill as well.
Things were too laid back this semester. Okay I admit, this class was a bit more laid back than BC Calc. We were practically finished by April or so. It was a great end to the day, but sometimes I couldn't help but feel bored during those class periods of doing nothing.
